Michael Byers is an associate in the Litigation group in Heenan Blaikie’s Toronto office. He maintains a practice that focuses on all aspects of commercial and civil litigation, including the representation of clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.

Michael graduated from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law. While in law school, Michael taught public speaking to undergraduate students at UBC’s Sauder School of Business, and gained international legal experience by participating in an exchange program with the University of Delhi, India. Prior to commencing his legal studies, Michael worked in the commercial real estate industry.

Michael joined Heenan Blaikie as an associate in 2012, after summering and articling with the firm.
