As a member of our Labour and Employment Law Group, Mr. De Stefano has represented employers before provincial authorities and arbitration boards in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. He has represented employers before the Québec Superior Court, Québec Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.

His practice includes collective bargaining, first-contract arbitration, certification proceedings, unfair labour practice complaints, wrongful dismissal cases and providing strategic practical advice.

He has also accumulated substantial experience with major, high-profile cases.

Mr. De Stefano teaches Labour Law at the Centre for Continuing Education and Faculty of Management of McGill University. He is the author of a number of widely read works on labour and employment law.

Mr. De Stefano has been recognized as a leading Labour and Employment Law practitioner by The Best Lawyers in Canada (Woodward/White) since 2006. He has also been recognized in the 2012 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in labour relations.
