Heenan Blaikie's competition practice has been recognized in the GCR 100, a peer-reviewed survey prepared by the Global Competition Review listing the world's leading competition law practices.

This rating is based on the work on several of the largest deals in the country over the past two years, such as Abu Dhabi National Energy Company's purchase of PrimeWest Energy Trust; Teck Cominco's (now Teck Resources) acquisition of Aur Resources Limited; and Philip Morris International's C$2 billion takeover of Rothmans.
