Right before Earth Day, on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 the Toronto office of Heenan Blaikie will host the Green Business Reception to draw attention to strategies that advance climate policy, energy efficiency, renewable energy and green jobs.

Prominent and knowledgeable speakers include:

• The Honourable Brad DuGuid, Ontario's Minister of Energy & Infrastructure;
• The Honourable Donald J. Johnston, P.C., O.C., Q.C., who was Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for a decade and founded its sustainable development program;
• Dr. John MacDonald, founder of MacDonald Dettwiler and now Chairman and CEO of Day4 Energy, a solar energy company; and
• Andrew Pelletier, Vice-President, Corporate Affairs with Walmart Canada, a leader in businesses taking extensive sustainability measures.
