Hubert Pépin Hubert Pépin focuses his practice on business law and labour law. In business law, he handles the business sales and acquisitions as well as their organization or reorganization. He provides advice pertaining to various business matters, including shareholder, employer-employee, management and non-management relations. His services are also sought in connection with research development and marketing by companies in a variety of fields. Furthermore, Mr. Pépin has provided legal advice for estate and trust planning as well as for estate freezing.
In his labour law practice, Mr. Pépin handles matters of arbitration, labour standards, union certification, and collective bargaining. His clients are mainly wholesalers, retailers and manufacturers. He is often called upon as a negotiator in the reopening of collective agreements for distressed businesses.
Mr. Pépin was Bâtonnier of the Barreau de Saint-François in 1980-1981. He taught civil procedure and civil law at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Sherbrooke. He frequently sits on advisory committees of private corporations and on corporate boards.
