Stanley W. L. Freedman
 
Stanley W.L. Freedman is a partner of Heenan Blaikie and has practiced business law since 1983.

Stan is recognized for his excellence in mergers and acquisitions, international trade, corporate finance, licensing and franchising as well as partnership/shareholder issues.

Stan has chaired many conferences and written and lectured on numerous matters relating to his expertise at The Law Society of Upper Canada, Osgoode Hall Law School and the American Bar Association. He is Vice-Chair of the International Mergers and Acquisitions Sub-Committee of the Negotiated Acquisitions Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Stan is Assistant Head of the Business Law Section of the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bar Admission Course. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation.
