Mark C. Power Mark Power began his law career in Toronto at Heenan Blaikie in 2003, after clerking for the Honourable Mr. Justice Michel Bastarache of the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mr. Power focuses his practice on litigation, constitutional law, language rights, education law, and administrative law. He is solicitor of record in more than ten files before the Supreme Court of Canada and provided advice in two other files before that court. He has also appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional and Superior Courts of Ontario, the Court of Appeal of Québec, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and the Federal Court.
Mr. Power is an assistant professor at the Common Law Section of the University of Ottawa’s Law Faculty. Education
