Andrea Zwack Andrea Zwack focuses her practice on labour and employment law, human rights, and constitutional and administrative law. She advises and represents both private and public sector employers on issues relating to unionization and collective agreement negotiation and administration, privacy, disability, harassment and other human rights issues, in addition to general employment law matters under federal jurisdiction and provincial jurisdiction in Alberta and British Columbia. She has appeared before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as the British Columbia, Alberta, and Canada Labour Relations Boards, Human Rights Tribunals, Employment Standards Tribunal, arbitration boards, and other administrative tribunals.
Ms. Zwack is adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of British Columbia. She has written several papers and articles on labour and human rights issues, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars. She also represents employer groups in lobbying and advocacy related to labour and employment policy and legislation.
Ms. Zwack is recognized as a leading Canadian lawyer in management labour and employment law by Who's Who Legal 2010.
Ms. Zwack joined Heenan Blaikie in 1993 after completing articles in Calgary and serving a one-year clerkship to the Honourable Mr. Justice Sopinka of the Supreme Court of Canada. Education
