Dan Palayew est le coassocié directeur du bureau d'Ottawa et coordonnateur du groupe du droit du Travail et de l’Emploi du bureau d'Ottawa. Il est régulièrement appelé à conseiller des employeurs en matière d'organisation et d'accréditation d'associations de travailleurs, de négociation de conventions collectives, d'injonctions, de congédiement abusif, de cessation d'emploi, d'arbitrage de différends, d'équité salariale, de santé et sécurité du travail, d'assurance et de protection des renseignements personnels.

Me Palayew a plaidé devant plusieurs cours et tribunaux, notamment les tribunaux d’arbitrage, la Commission des relations de travail de l’Ontario, le Conseil canadien des relations industrielles, la Commission de la sécurité professionnelle et de l’assurance contre les accidents du travail, le Tribunal d’appel de la sécurité professionnelle et de l’assurance contre les accidents du travail, la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, la Cour d'appel de l'Ontario ainsi que la Cour d’appel fédérale.

Me Palayew est membre de l’Association des professionnels en ressources humaines de l’Ontario et de l’Association du Barreau de l'Ontario. Il a été représentant pour l’Est de l’Ontario de l’exécutif de la section du Droit du travail de l’Association du Barreau de l’Ontario et il est actuellement coordonnateur régional pour l’Est de l’Ontario de l’exécutif de la section Protection de la vie privée et siège à l'exécutif de la section Accidents du travail. Il siège au conseil d’administration de l’Association des professionnels en ressources humaines d’Ottawa et a dirigé le comité de liaison des affaires gouvernementales.

Me Palayew a également été invité à prononcer et à présider plusieurs conférences et séminaires et il a publié de nombreux articles liés à son domaine d’expertise. Il a été cité à plusieurs reprises à la radio ainsi que dans des publications telles que le Globe and Mail, Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Business Journal ainsi que Workplace News sur des questions de droit du travail et de l’emploi et de protection des renseignements personnels.

Me Palayew est reconnu comme un avocat de premier plan au Canada dans le domaine du droit du travail et de l'emploi aux fins des éditions 2010, 2011, 2012 et 2013 du répertoire The Best Lawyers in Canada (Woodward/White).
